Embrace Your Flaws

It’s been a long time since the last time I posted something on my blog and I apologize for that. These photos were taken for a competition I joined on Instagram, but sadly I didn’t win haha. But I guess that’s ok cause I still get to share them with you guys.

Talking about the outfit, my mom bought this off-the-shoulder top on her last trip to Guangzhou, China. And the pants, was also bought by her. They are pretty well-made and the fabrics are fine too even though they weren’t from known brands. As for the little scarf, my mom (again) got it for me on her Europe trip back in May.

If you guys look closely in one of my photos, there’s something reddish on my upper left arm — which is my scar — that I haven’t shown much. I got the scar after my birthmark surgery months ago. I underwent 2 surgeries to have my birthmark removed and both went pretty well. But I was too “reckless” after the first one that I didn’t take a really good care of it, leaving a discolored scar.

Even with my scar, I always tell myself to embrace my flaws and it’s not a big deal. Guess that’s what we all should do in order to be happy, which is to embrace our flaws. 🙂

I’ll save the full story of my scar for another time. Ask me if you want to know more about it or if you have the same experience, please comment down below! See you in my next post! x

Neck scarf (bought in Europe) | Top and pants (bought in China) | Kate Spade bag | Zara block heels
